Episode One of ‘Making Footprints in the Stone’ introduces the title track from Thomas Allain’s debut solo record. My team had the pleasure of accompanying Thomas for 7 days to capture the live tracking process in the famous historical town of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Ivy Manor itself sits a stones throw from the Tennessee River and was a very special part of this entire experience. The manor is where artists come to sleep, eat, and record. My team also experienced the benefits of being completely immersed in the project. By living in our workspace we were able to explore every corner of the house, the towns history, and Thomas’ recording process.
